Jenni Lättilä is a young, finnish jugendlich dramatisch soprano.
Twice a graduate from the
Sibelius Academy, where
Outi Kähkönen was her
voice teacher, she now continues as a post-grad at the
DocMus department of her alma mater
with Susanna Eken and prof.
Dorothy Irving
as her artistic and technique coaches, and prof., Ph.D. Anne Sivuoja as her dissertation
supervisor on scholarly subjects.
In 2010, Jenni Lättilä won the third prize at the Lauritz Melchior International Singing Competition. In 2008, she was awarded the prize for best performance of contemporary music at Wilhelm Stenhammar International Music Competition. She is also a finalist and prize-winner of several national-level competitions.
A confessed wagnerian, Jenni Lättilä is not only a wagnerian voice recognized both nationally and internationally: she is also a renowned interpreter of different vocal music styles, from Verdi to contemporary

5th Jan. 2012: Leif Segerstam started his term as the principal conductor of Turku Philharmonic Orchestra with a concert presenting Holst and Sibelius, where Jenni Lättilä sung the soprano solo in Luonnotar Op. 70.
